Rolando Angelo Ochoa, M.D.

Dr. Rolando Angelo T. Ochoa is a certified orthopedic surgeon sub-specializing in Adult Reconstruction and Total Joint Replacement. He obtained both his pre-medical and medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas. He did his Internship at the Santo Tomas University Hospital.
Dr. Ochoa took his orthopedic residency training at the Philippine Orthopedic Center. A firm believer in continuing education, he underwent a Clinical Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Total Joint Replacement at the Stanford University Medical Center, in Palo Alto, California. During his stint at the Stanford Hospital, he was given numerous opportunities to enhance his training by involvement in sports medicine and pelvic trauma cases.
Dr. Ochoa has also completed various rigorous skills training programs in the US to enhance his surgical skills and clinical knowledge in shoulder and knee arthroscopy. He also completed training in Schulthess Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland last 2011 to learn various techniques in preserving hip surgery for developmental dysplasia of the hip and femoral acetabular impingement.
Dr. Ochoa is also affiliated with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Philippine Orthopedic Association, the Philippine Board of Orthopedics, and the Philippine Medical Association.
Dr. Ochoa believes in comprehensive evaluation and treatment to meet patients’ individual needs, and stresses the value of patient information to ensure that his patients have the capacity to make informed decisions about the treatment they will receive.
