Excercise during the summer is best done early in the morning or late afternoons when the temperature is favorable. Start with good cool and comfortable workout clothes which pulls wetness from your skin. Accessories such as a cap and sun visors will keep the sun away from your face. Also have a cool shower before starting your workout to cool you down. Change intensity or activity depending on the temperature of the time you are working out; for super humid days you could go for water sports activites or indoor earobics. Slow down your pace and take lots of liquids not only during excercise but throughout the day.

Delicious fruits and veggies are plentiful at your farmer’s market and grocery stores. Fruits and vegetables are low in calories but rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. You can forget about the helpings and enjoy without gaining. Here are some tips on taking advantage of Summer's fresh produce:

1: Soups & Salads- Start your meal with low calorie vegtable soups and salads, it will make you feel full before starting off with main course. Salads can also be a complete and healthy meal. A mix of fruits, greens, nuts and meat can go a long long way.
